Honey Oatmeal Bread

I'm a sucker for that fresh bread smell!

This recipe comes from my mother. It's quick, easy and so good! 



1 c. Warm water

1 Tbls. Oil

1/4 c. Honey

1 tsp. Salt

1/2 c. Rolled oats

2 1/3 c. Flour

1 tsp. Active dry yeast

Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add oil and honey then slowly add in the water while combining with your hand. If the dough seems too sticky feel free to add in a little flour. 

Don't add in too much flour. 

Once the ingredients are fully combined need the dough for a few minutes in the bowl than form into a ball.

Lightly oil it then cover with a damp towel and let it rise for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 180/350 degrees. 

Form into a log and 

bake for 25-30 minutes
